The Photo Shoot
Jack had the Caligari Bass professionally photographed. The shaping, rich wood,
and overwhelming beauty of the instrument is immediately obvious in these shots.
Note particularlly the smooth shaping of the back of the body, and the elegant
shaping of the "Read signature" at the bottom. The closeup, below,
shows off the wonderful grain of the top, and the sweeping positioning of the
tone and volume knobs.
