I'm no longer actively freelancing as a web
designer/developer, and contracting while I bring up my children, <a href="../family/index2.html" target="main">Orson and Miranda</a>.
Now, in my spare time I'm not tinkering with graphics, programming and web pages, I'm writing. I have in the past <a href="http://www.routt.net/PowerTrio/" target="_blank">played in bands</a>, <a href="http://www.strongwomen.com/index.stm" target="_blank">lifted
weights</a>, <a href="http://members.optushome.com.au/cameroncrawford/" target="_blank">practiced martial
arts</a> and been a regular roleplayer. Right now it's hard to fit in the odd dogwalk or trip to the roller rink.<br>
<br>
In the mists of time before children, I worked building (mainly corporate)
websites for a great little web development firm called <a href="javascript:openPicWindow('mmp.jpg', 322, 473, 'Ahhh, the good old days!');">mmpowered
communications</a> which, unfortunately, folded at the end of 2001.
No hard feelings - I still keep in touch with the fine people I worked
with there. Prior to that, I worked for two years at Beam Software
(another great bunch of people, by and large) in their Internet department,
and before that I spent a lot of my time writing and editing material
for roleplaying games company Chaosium.<!-- #EndLibraryItem --></td>
